Will Remapping Affect my Warranty, Insurance or MOT?

There is no reason that having your vehicle re-mapped will affect your warranty, we are not adding or taking anything from the vehicle, we are simply adjusting the existing settings within the manufacturer’s tolerances. It is highly unlikely that a manufacturer will even be able to find that the procedure has been carried out; however we are happy to return your car to standard before any visit to the main dealer if you require us to.

Should you tell your insurance company? This is up to you. We have to advise that you inform your insurance companies that the remap has been carried out but it is extremely difficult to detect. Ultimately it is your responsibility.

As for the annual MOT test, your car should have no problem in passing the unless there is something wrong with the vehicle at the time. If you do have a problem we will do our upmost to help.
